Meet Emily Goldstein of Marea Weddings & Events
Emily Goldstein, a graduate from the University of Alabama, is the owner and lead coordinator of Marea Weddings and Events and has worked in the wedding industry for over a decade. Marea Weddings and Events offers services including designing, planning and coordinating special events.
Emily strives to bring individual visions to life. She prioritizes being engaged with her clients and ensuring that their special event goes as seamlessly as possible. She understands the daily demands of planning and coordinating events and is constantly on her toes ready to adapt to any situation. In her eyes, there’s never a task that can’t be done for her clients . Emily knows that each event is intimate and special and loves getting to know her clients in order to customize every event to them and their needs.
Emily is an avid sports fan, a wife, and a soon to be mother. But most importantly she’s the coordinator ready to put your event plans into action.
Emily’s advice for future brides is to never forget that it’s your day and your input is the most valuable. Don’t look back at the end of the day and see your decisions were really for someone else. When you come to your decisions, check it off the list and don’t look back!
A really great planner is not just an asset to the bride and groom but to the photographer as well. When everything runs smoothly because the wedding planner is there to handle all of the stressful logistics for you, then I as a photographer get all the time I need to do my job. Emily is one such great planner. When we worked together she was there every minute the bride needed her. Despite having a stressful weather situation Emily kept the bride at ease and made sure everything worked out anyway and helped us carve out some time for amazing sunset pictures when the weather cleared.
Emily is s uper friendly as well as organized and not only takes great care of her clients but she does a great job coordinating with vendors as well. When the planner takes good care communicating and helping vendors, then vendors like me can take better care of clients.
