Lake Lanier Islands Wedding: When Hui & Liyao’s wedding day came at Lake Lanier Islands it started out looking like another rainy day. There was rain falling in the morning and a radar with storms on the horizon. They told Joyce their wedding planner that they didn’t care, they wanted the ceremony outside and they’d take their chances. Joyce said she prayed all night for no rain and apparently it worked. We had beautiful blue sky’s and puffy clouds which was appropriate for this beautiful couple. As soon as everyone got inside the rain came pouring in for the rest of the night so it couldn’t have been any more appropriate. Liyao and Hui had an awesome reception and even serenaded their guests with their own musical duet with Liyao on keyboard and Hui playing a magnificent violin. Another cool touch was they made a photobooth for photos with friends at the end of the night before the sendoff which was a great way to quickly get photos with guests.
