I photographed my first wedding in 2005 and have done hundreds since then. As a photojournalist, I loved the opportunity to capture stories and emotions that people would cherish. As an artist I loved the chance to be creative and capture beauty in ordinary places. When I got the chance to photograph my first Indian wedding I was hooked. It was everything I loved about wedding photography but taken up a level. Big families full of love, tons of intimate moments, many beautiful traditions and stories to tell, and incredible color and beautiful detail in dress and decor. Honestly it’s a photographer’s dream and I feel so fortunate that I’ve been able to add this genre to my business.

No washed out or dark photo trends here. Indian weddings are full of color and I edit in a way that preserves and highlights that.
You invest in a good photographer and you don’t want boring photos. I always make sure to find ways to get images that are unique to you.
My Favorite thing about South Asian Weddings are all the rich rituals and traditions. My experience as a photojournalist helps to capture all the storytelling details.
