Adrian’s Decatur Maternity Session

Wow-what a beautiful day for Adrians Maternity Session at Cator Woolford Gardens in Decatur! I loved how spectacular Adrian looked in her deep red maternity gown and Otis looked pretty sharp as well! I’m sure these two photogenic soon-to-be parents will have an adorable boy! Cator Woolford is famous for its old majestic outdoor staircase leading into the gardens. We took full advantage of the great light on the stairs for some traditional maternity portraits as well as my favorite “flying dress” shots. We had Otis throw the long train of the gown up in the air to look almost as momma was an angel with wings. I got to play a little bit with some shutter drag action for one cool artistic shot (learn how here) which is always fun. Then we moved into the gardens to photograph in front of a wall of white flowers. It was great working with these two as they are clearly excited parents and they were so easy to photograph!
