Yonah Mountain Vineyards Wedding

Natalie and DJ Were so happy the whole day that it made photographing their Yonah Mountain Wedding a real treat. Natalie said that Dj likes to keep her emotions buttoned up and wasn’t sure if she’d cry or look too excited, but during her first look she was caught speechless and had to battle to hold back tears. Their first look was my favorite part of the day because they both looked so incredibly happy to be marrying each other that I felt honored to be getting to capture it for them. I love weddings at Yonah Mountain vineyards because the ceremony space in front of the vines on top of a mini-mountain with a real mountain in the background makes for the most beautiful outdoor ceremony space I work at, and then add in the cool wine cave for some more dramatic and fun portraits and you have one of the most photogenic venues in North Georgia. One of my favorite parts of weddings are the coming together of two families. Most families seem to enjoy this aspect, but Natalie and Dj’s families took this joy to another level. The whole day and especially the reception was filled with handshakes, greetings, and shared laughter as aunts, and dads, and cousins all shared in their excitement for the couple. They all expressed pleasure in making new friends and a growing family. These two ended the night with a great dance floor and a bubble send off and I’m hoping they are enjoying their honeymoon.
